Notes: Pennsylvania was the 2nd state to have a state quarter issued and it was released March 8th 1999 after being engraved by John Mercanti. It has the words Virtue Liberty Independence on the reverse with a picture of the state. All the state quarters have the words E Pluribus Unum on the reverse bottom middle.
