John F Kennedy Half Dollar Double Dated 1960-1980 Covered in pure 24KT Gold

I'm trying to wrap my head around what exactly this coin is and its hard without seeing a photo of it. We have founds dozens of gold plated Kennedy Half Dollars.

We used to buy boxes of half dollars from the bank searching for silver coinage back in 2010 or thereabouts. So we have seen the coin you are speaking about, in fact Im pretty sure I have a few still in my collection.

Are you however asking the value of one what was double struck? Or one that was later struck aftermarket?

These coins if gold plated were all done aftermarket. There used to be commercials on T.V. when people watched TV :) of these coins late nights. Do you have a photo of said coin?

Well this is funny. I actually happen to have at least one of the coins you are asking about...I put it on a cutting board and took a photo here. Does your coin look like this? If so let me know, ill start doing a little research. If it does what condition is it in? Like I said in previous post...we found ours in circulation so its not in the best condition. You can see where the gold has been worn away the silver has oxidized.

If you're coin looks like this they sell for between $14 to $40 w or without shipping. I see many records of this coin not just listed, but selling and often. So I would think this coin should sell fast if listed.
