Do you happen to have a photo of the coin? The Coinage Act of 1792 was a few years after that so im curious do you mean this? Would it be possible for you to upload a photo of the coin please? Or are you referring to a 1776-1976 of some sort? Or did you mistype the date? Thanks so much for posting! Let us know.
In retrospect you said S as in San Francisco mint, and it wasnt established until like 1854...so you mean the ike bicentennial silver dollar?
Would it be possible for you to take a photo of the coin, and upload it? There is an 1876 S Trade Dollar? Does it look like this? Can you double check the date, and either upload a photo or give us all the words on the coin? That might help?
