Certification?

My question is, if I would have to get a coin ms certified then it would wipe out any profits to be made.
Isn't that correct?

Thats essentially correct. Certification for coins is really only viable when the coin is super old or some sort of rare error or conditional rarity. Here are the average rates that NGC and PCGS charge. Most coins can be graded with books and thats close enough. If you need something more, then NGC or PCGS may be the answer. What are you interested in having certified?

I've been interested in coins since I was little and my dad picked up a wheat penny off the ground and he was so happy about it.
That's been over 50 yrs ago and I've enjoyed looking at coins since.
I have a decent bit of coins but not sure of anything $ wise. There's no places or people around here to check with about values. If I put pics in my sign in account could people see them to buy? Or comment on so I'll know more info?
Thanks so much for your response. 😊
