Lettering on a coin

I have a question, I was looking at a 1974 quarter that I have and on the lettering where it says "In God we trust", the in is significantly wider, each letter, then the rest of the words. I was just wondering if that's a common occurrence or not. I will attach a few pics for you, hopefully you'll be able to see what I'm referring to.

Ive made some adjustments to the image and am not sure if i see anything abnormal. I may see faint doubling like from that of a double strike / double die but its hard to tell from this image. I've also looked at other 1974 quarters and it appears that the N in In and the T in trust align correctly, as well as the W in We and the T in trust, as well as a few other things. So at the very least the proportions of the strike are correct.

Without looking more closely its hard to tell. If you look with a magnifying glass, or a cell phone 10x at the lettering do you see faint traces of what appear to be like an odd edge to them like you had double vision?
