1960 d penny error 39?

I found this 1960 d penny recently and was interested in knowing what you might think. On the reverse it has a 39 on it. Do you think this may be an error or a man made after production penny?
Thanks so much for your input.

That is for certain not a standard "error" but rather something that was done to the coin after it left the mint. That means PMD or Post Mint Damage. It may be engraved but looks like its been punched. Thanks for sharing, where did you find this?

Here are some regular found errors for the 1960 D.

I work at a grocery store that has a coin counter machine. It was a cull that the machine would take. Some people leave the culls and I get them. I come home every night and get my 🔍 and check them out.
I just got a quarter that has an obverse on both sides. A 1990 p on one and a 1965 on the other. I know it's fake now but they are talented to be able to do that. It looks so good to me! I'll post a pic so everyone can see one.
Thanks so much
I'm terrible at taking pics.
