Notes: The US Mint released the New York state quarter in January of 2001, and was minted at the Denver, Philadelphia, and San Francisco mints. It was designed by Alfred Maletsky and has the words Gateway to Freedom on the reverse as well as the Statue of Liberty. All the state quarters have the words E Pluribus Unum on the reverse bottom middle.
