Questions & Comments
Simone : Why is there a small o, used on reverse of coins, in the oF .Its not all coins just some. Posted: July 1, 2024 10:07 am
Admin : On some of the older cents we know of die variations with small o large F, or lowercase o and uppercase F. Weve looked at all the 1937 D cents we have on hand and even photos of those online, and cant specifically see what you are speaking about. Is this for a 1937 D cent, or some other coin? How much is a 1969 D Penny worth?
In Average Circulated (AC) condition it's worth around 25 cents, one in certified mint state (MS+) condition could bring as much as $18 at auction. This price does not reference any standard coin grading scale. So when we say Average Circulated, we mean in a similar condition to other coins circulated in 1969, and mint state meaning it is certified MS+ by one of the top coin grading companies. *** [?].

The words In God We Trust are engraved in an arching manner on the top most portion of this coin. The date is present along with the mint mark. If the mark is missing the coin was issued from the Philadelphia mint. With the exception of 2017 P, the only year to contain a P mint mark to honor the 225th anniversary of the United States Mint.
