The 2014 S Shenandoah National Park Quarter designed by Phebe Hemphill is part of the America the Beautiful coin series. Shenandoah National Park is part of the Blue Ridge Mountain range, and covers more than 311 square miles of land.
The reverse of the coin shows the peak of Little Stony Man summit with a hiker atop. The words Virginia, Shenandoah, and E. Pluribus Unum are inscribed and skyline drive can be seen winding at the base of the coin.
