The Blue Ridge Parkway North Carolina quarter from 2015 is one of many coins in the America the Beautiful coin series produced by the United States Mint. The North Carolina section of the Blue Ridge Parkway starts near Cumberland Knob and runs south west ending just north of Cherokee NC. The North Carolina section of the parkway alone has nearly 30 tunnels similar to the one shown on the reverse of the quarter.

The reverse of these coins were designed by Joseph Menna and Frank Morris. The words Blue Ridge Parkway, North Carolina, and E Pluribus Unum are present as well as the year 2015. North Carolina's state flower is the white dogwood and is present on the bottom right. The road winds its way into one of the many tunnels you will find on the blue ridge parkway. Bridges crossing the parkway are required to have a more rustic rocky design to match all previous bridge and tunnel entrances.
