2002 P Mississippi State Quarter

Type: Mississippi State Quarter
Year: 2002
Mint Mark: P
Face Value: 0.25 USD
Total Produced: 290,000,000 [?]
Silver Content: 0%
Numismatic Value: 25 cents to $1.75
Value: As a rough estimate of this coins value you can assume this coin in poor condition will be valued at somewhere around 25 cents, while one in "perfect" condition can bring $1.75. This price does not reference any standard coin grading scale. So when we say poor, we mean worn more than would be expected from a coin in this age, and perfect meaning it looks "perfect" without flaw and possibly even certified. [?].

Additional Info: The Mississippi state quarter was engraved by Donna Weaver who also did the other state quarters before and after this release. It was issued October 15th 2002 to the public. The reverse or back of the coin has the words The Magnolia State, as well as 2 flowers (Magnolia Blossoms the State Flower). I would have expected it to have the Mighty Mississippi or something like that but they just went with flowers. :)

**When we say that 290,000,000, of these coins were produced or minted in 2002 this number doesn't always match the actual circulation count for this coin. The numbers come from the United States mint, and they don't reflect coins that have been melted, destroyed, or those that have never been released. Please keep that in mind.
