Notes: Coin was engraved by Don Everhart and was released in January 2005. This coin has a man standing with a walking stick named John Muir a Scottish born naturalist, who may be mistaken as a prospector. It also has the California Condor, half dome, and the works Yosemite Valley. All the state quarters have the words E Pluribus Unum on the reverse bottom middle.
