The 3 sisters is a Native American story passed down through the generations. The purpose of which is to help people remember that planting Corn Beans and Squash together will make a garden grown well. The beans provide nitrogen, the squash covers the ground and stops weeds from growing, and the corn gives the beans something to climb.
