The reverse of this coin contains the words "United States of America", "E pluribus unum","Five Cents", "Lewis & Clark 1805",and "Ocean In View! O! The Joy!". This non proof issue was produced at the Denver and Philadelphia mint, while a proof issue was minted in San Francisco at their facility.
