2015 Nebraska Homestead Quarter



The 2015 D Nebraska Homestead Quarter also known as the Homestead National Monument of America Quarter was the first America the Beautiful quarter to be released in 2015. The design concept was created by artist Jim Licaretz and Ronald D. Sanders. Their initials are present on the withering husk of the corn. RS for Ronald Sanders on left, and JL for Jim Licaretz on the right.



Noticeable engraved images on the reverse include; An old cabin, two ears of corn, and an old style deep well hand pump for water. Also present are the words Homestead, Nebraska, E Pluribus Unum, and the year 2015. The front or obverse of this coin is simple using the original bust of George Washington seen on most modern quarter dollars.


There are several specific variations to be aware of with these coins, they are.
