The 2017 Effigy Mounds National Monument (IOWA) quarter is quite possibly the ugliest quarter ever minted in the United States. The blobs on the quarter look more like ameba than effigy mounds. The choice to go with an Aerial view of the mounds was probably not the best choice :)
