Notes: 1922 was the 2nd year that the 1922 Peace dollar was minted. They really dropped the bomb so to speak on the silver dollar market, minting over 51 million. That is currently $1.6 Billion dollars worth of silver at the spot price. (this note does not update dynamically with the silver spot like the rest of this site).
The liberty silver dollar is our personal favorite silver dollar. We like it even more than the Morgan believe it or not. Its design is simple, clean, and symmetrical and we appreciate that.
The front of the Peace Dollars face is graced by Lady Liberty. You can read more about the Peace Dollar here.
Of all the 1922 Peace Dollars the ones minted in San Francisco seem to be worth the most, with the Denver issues coming in second, and 3rd by a wide margin those minted in Philadelphia.
